Colt Levi Caddy, 32, passed away on April 15, 2026, in Green River. His passing leaves a deep void in the lives of his family, friends, and all who knew him. Remembered for his vibrant personality and unwavering love for those closest to him, Colt’s life was marked by connection, humor, and devotion.
Born on September 3, 1993, in Rock Springs to Rodney Caddy and Kat Caddy-Dowley, Colt was raised with strong family values and a sense of determination. He graduated from Green River High School in 2012 and went on to earn his associate degree from Western Wyoming Community College. Colt built a career in the oil and gas industry with BP America before later serving as a manager at Walmart. On June 15, 2019, he married Emily Sorensen in Lindon, Utah, beginning a partnership grounded in love and shared dreams.
Colt will be remembered for his outgoing nature, quick wit, and remarkable ability to bring laughter to any room. He had a passion for cars from a young age and found joy in boating and spending time outdoors. A devoted dog lover, he cherished the companionship of his pets throughout his life.
He is survived by his wife, Emily, and their son, Cayson; his parents, Jim Dowley and Kat Caddy-Dowley; his siblings and extended family, including many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Raelynn, his father, Rodney, and several beloved relatives.
Funeral services will be held on April 24 at 10:00 a.m. at Green River Alliance Church, followed by interment at Riverview Cemetery.
